Do you need a miracle?

On the day the Lord gave the Israelites victory over the Amorites, Joshua prayed to the Lord in front of all the people of Israel. He said, “Let the sun stand over Gibeon, and the moon over the valley of Aijalon.” So the sun stood still and the moon stayed in place until the nation of Israel had defeated its enemies. The sun stayed in the middle of the sky, and it did not set as on a normal day. There has never been a day like this one before or since, when the Lord answered such a prayer. Surely the Lord fought for Israel that day! Joshua 10:12-14 NLT

The day the sun stood still.  It’s one of the most miraculous and dramatic events in all of scripture. This miracle occurred because one man was willing to ask for the impossible. This miraculous act started a sequence of events that would become some of the most victorious battles in biblical history as well as defying the law of science.

“If the size of the vision you have for your life isn’t intimidating to you, there’s a good chance it’s insulting to God” written Steven Furtick in his book, Sun Stand Still. God likes to show off for his children so people will know that He alone is God and there is no one like Him. Have you stopped praying prayers worthy of the God of all creation?

What would happen if you would dare to ask God for the impossible?

Do you have the audacity to ask God for the impossible?

God can do anything. When you’re faced with something that’s too big for you, it’s not too big for God. Don’t be discouraged and have the courage to pray and ask for anything!
